Endangered Kingdoms – A card deck tribute to wildlife on the brink of extinction 
Role: Illustration, Lettering, Conception  

Crafted as a result of a challenge embraced by lettering designers and illustrators, this project weaves creativity and conservation.

The custom face cards are a tribute to the endangered species. Each suit showcase a distinct animal classes: birds, big cats, water animals and primates.

The numbers 2 to 10 and letters K, Q, J and A are carefully hand-lettered.
The name of each species is in English and Latin, under its scientific denomination. The chosen script typeface is reminiscent of the captions on biological lithographs. The card backs and the box mirrors as well the essence of the project.

"Endangered Kingdoms" is designed to enthrall players and collectors alike. By combining creativity and purpose, this project aims to raise awareness among players and observers of the need to preserve endangered species.
